WHEN The ASMF (Association Sportive Motocycliste de France) founded in 1975 is registered under the French 1901 charity law. It unites gay men who share the same ‘hard’ / SM sexuality. Currently it has more than 100 members who develop ties of friendship and solidarity in formal and informal gatherings. Notably we seek to be implicitly involved in the organisation and co-ordination of the Paris leather and fetishist scene. WHY? We don’t have pretentions of managing members’ sexuality. We simply want to allow people with common needs and attractions to meet: but not just for sex. ECMC Our association has been affiliated to the ECMC (European Confederation of Mortorcycle Clubs), since 1997. The European-wide confederation has about 50 member-clubs similar to our own for SM gays, leather and related fetishists. THE LGBT WORLD Like all other LGBT (Lesbian, Gay, Bi and Transsexual associations) we support the fight against discrimination and react whenever necessary to defend rights and freedoms. We are members of the Paris and Ile de France (Paris Region) LGBT Centre and the Inter LGBT. PREVENTION We are very attached to the fight against AIDS and the prevention of sexually transmitted diseases. The ASMF is one of the rare French clubs to be a member of the SNEG (Syndicat National des Entreprises Gays), (The National Union of Gay Businesses). In this context we are signatory to the Charter of Responsibility in which we promise to encourage and make possible safe sex. SOCIALISING We regularly organize diners for members as well as an early evening rendez vous for a drink and a chat for members and non-members who are interested in our Association. We also organize other social and cultural outings. |

ASMF Association 1901 OUR ACTIVITIES Our private evenings are open under certain circumstances to non-members. We have about two meetings a year: -A club diner before the meeting on the Friday evening. -A cultural outing on the Saturday afternoon before the big meeting where several hundred guys meet in a specially decorated and equipped hall in which we want to incite play!. There are one or two private evenings a year known as ‘nouveaux venus’ during which we welcome new members. We also organise week-ends in the provinces for members and their guests. To join the ASMF you must fulfill certain formalities.
